5 Misconceptions about DACA
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is an immigration policy that aims to protect children who were physically present in the US before June 15, 2012, from being deported.
There are many misconceptions surrounding DACA with some advocating for its abolition; however, many DREAMers (those who are protected by DACA), often had no control of when they entered the United States since they entered when they were children.
This series of slides was created for Instagram and aims to clear some of the myths surrounding DACA.
